Congratulations to all of our Year 10 Business Studies pupils who got through to the West Wales Celtic Enterprise Final competition in The National Botanic Gardens on March the 4th 2010. Teams were judged on their display stands, presentations and interviewed by a panel of judges. Pupils had to display a positive approach with regards to communication, teamwork, problem solving skills and customer focus.

One of our teams ‘Keyrings Я Us’ successfully got through to the celebratory event held in Plymouth between the 16th-19th March. The brains behind the business were Shannan Cuell, Chelsea Esmonde, Joshua Temple, Ashleigh Sommers, Ashley Williams and Raisa Kiley. The event included bowling, a trip to The Tree Tops Adventure Centre where pupils participated in abseiling and rock climbing and an afternoon at the HM Naval Base where pupils enjoyed a tour of the submarine HMS Courageous. An Educational Business Partnership was also set up with Plymstock School where pupils had to partake in a group activity between all the schools.

‘Keyrings Я Us’ would like to thank the pupils of Daniel James and all the staff at Celtic Enterprise Careers Wales West for the opportunity they gave us to show our business acumen.
